Vehicle Description 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Short Bed with Leer Camper 92718 Miles on Odometer… Photos: http://oldstar21.com/2001Ram1500/ This vehicle is being sold by a County Agency designated to handle estate property. This is a Dodge 4 wheel drive half ton Pickup with a Leer Camper Top. It appears that this vehicle has been properly cared for, based on feedback from automotive business that worked on this vehicle. I didn’t like the way it was driving and they put a steering damper. The check engine light was on and it was fixed with a replacement gas cap. (See scanned invoice on the web site) http://oldstar21.com/2001Ram1500/ As I was taking the photos for the web site, I noticed a dark stain on the rear drive housing (see photo 11 at http://oldstar21.com/2001Ram1500/ ). This stain appears to be old and there is no obvious drainage leaving stains under the vehicle. There small scratches and dents, on the body of the pickup and I have endeavored to show these marks in the photos. I, the agent for this sale, have driven this pickup on several occasions, and after the steering damper was replaced, it has a good ride, lots of power, easy transfer to 4WD and really nice camper. I would add a step under both doors to allow easier cab access. I am no expert on tires, but these look like fairly recent replacements. The buyer acknowledges that the Seller is a County Government Agency acting as the Estate Trustee and has no knowledge regarding this vehicle, VIN 1B7HF16Y61S310258, and that the vehicle is sold strictly AS-IS, with no warranty except that of clear title. Buyer agrees to register the vehicle with the legally appropriate agency in Buyer’s state of residence, in his or her name, within seven days of taking possession and further agrees to indemnify and hold-harmless, Seller, its trustee, agents, representatives and insurers from any liability arising from Buyer’s Failure to register the vehicle within the agreed time period.
