Vehicle Detail

Please read carefully...please check feedback...and please feel free to contact me with any questions. Being that this one has 2 fresh coats of Zymol applied, and with black being black, wife had some difficulty getting pictures without reflections; we have taken over 50 various pics, so if you don't see a panel or angle you'd like, chances are we have something...so again, feel free to ask. CLEAN title here, not a re-built, not a flood vehicle, not a salvage. CLEAN. But if you're expecting to find a new car with a new car warranty, this one won't do it. If you're looking for an affordable, solidly maintained (documented!), sharp "eyeball" car that has as much appeal as any 2000 model out there...read on.. I am the 2nd owner of this Accord. For those that tend to wonder, it has NEVER been smoked in. It has been serviced regularly as (as CarFax will attest) EVERY 3-4,000 miles since new. All work ALWAYS completed at a certified Honda service facility! Oil changes, bulbs, filters, sensors, brakes, wiper blades...if it needed it, it got it! 4 new Cooper CS4 Touring M&S Tires ($106 each) were installed less than 1200 miles ago, and brakes (pads/rotors) serviced as well. Timing belt, water pump, compressor belt, PS pump belt, and water pump were all replaced in August to the tune of $851. Car was completely 64-point safety inspected, lube-oil-filtered, and a bulb in the floor console also replaced that day. No warning lights and no surprises. Power windows both work. Locks work. Cruise works. Auto-temp Air ice cold. AM-FM CD and all speakers, fade and balance, all work clearly but the CD does not like some home-burned CD's...it will play any original all the time..but if you burned it yourself, you may or may not get play. I can't explain it nor can the Honda advisors. Sun roof tilts and slides as new, has never leaked; the headliner still factory tight with no sagging. 8 way power seat works. Power mirrors work. Garage door opener/homelink work. All body panels are original. All glass is good...no cracks, no spiders, no bulls-eyes. All lights, signals, 4-ways work...and oh yeah, the headlights haven't yellowed or filmed up yet! Included are both original keys and the valet key (still on the original 2000 stock tag); one of the original remotes (needs battery) and a OEM remote (needs programmed); original Honda Owner's Guide, Honda Service Guide, and Radio Code card all in glovebox. I have replaced the lid/armrest of the center console with nicer one on Ebay as mine had some elbow sag; I also have a 2nd "V6" emblem for the rear deck...which you may need if you park in public places, as itchy fingers tend to like these! Spare tire, jack, front and rear winter mats, and the often lost locking-wheel tool are all here.. If you pull a CarFax, you will see a reported accident from 12-01-04, "involving left side impact it hit another motor vehicle VERY MINOR damage reported". Previous owner told me that he was awaiting a left turn at (yellow) stop light and and car behind him started around him as he started his turn; minor straightening and paintwork only...professionally done and undetectable. Face it, owners do not keep cars another 8 years if they're noticeably injured. As mentioned, this one is 12 years young. You will get 10-12 small dings...none have broken the paint...and a Dent Wizard will be able to make them vanish if you so choose. The wheels are still sharp with no pitting, although a couple have light wheel rash. The outer panel of the driver seat has worn to the point where it should be replaced; as you can see in pics, the seam has separated and (I was quoted) about $400 will replenish the cushioning and outer panel. I was told it can not be stitched or repaired on it's own without actually replacing the panel. Again your choice...power seat still works, recliner still works, manual lumbar still works...just a matter of cosmetics. The lower passenger seat has similar issue although much smaller, it may be repairable without actually replacing it. Rear seat is virtually spotless, both myself and previous owner with only adult children. The rear wing shows light fading/oxidation; keep in mind that Honda wings are Dealer-installed and not indicative of factory paint jobs. Overall paint, condition, and lustre of this car will turn heads. There are 2 small (1/4"-1/2"...$100 each) rust spots that are virtually undetectable unless pointed out...one is on front right lip of sunroof, the other on lower lip of hood. The posted pics and the accompanying light flashes and reflections do no justice to the visual appeal of this one... And lastly, 3.0 V-6 runs strongly and quietly and Tranny shifts smoothly. No excess oil consumption, no leaks, and best of all, no surprises. The car has shown a strong favoritism for Shell gasoline; feed it other brands at your own risk. As previous owner told me, she will most likely sputter and stall if fed another brand, regardless of its octane level (another "unexplainable" per Honda Service advisors). And likewise, she prefers to be driven on a daily basis... As mentioned above, feel free to contact me with questions (other than reserve, which I think is VERY reasonable!); I will assist as possible with transportation arrangements. Legitimate bidders only please...I reserve the right to cancel any bids due to feedback issues; Car will also become available for sale locally starting 10-10-11. Kindly know your finances before bidding, see terms as listed. And obviously, USA bidders only. Thanks for looking and best of luck.On Oct-12-11 at 12:36:54 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to a question I should've answered in my original description, apologies for oversight: I am midway between Cleveland John Hopkins Airport and Pittsburgh International, approx. 60-65 miles in either direction...Pittsburgh a straighter, easier, faster drive though...
