Vehicle Detail

Up for auction/sale is a 1985 Chevy El Camino 4.3L V6. I initially bought this car from a Bank a few months ago and was supposed to be a gift for my grandpa, but unfortunately he never got well to be able to drive again, so I'm a woman stuck with a truck that I have no need for. Needless to say that I no nothing about cars either, so I had my neighbor help me with some photos/video to present this car on here the best I can... The body is straight, bumpers look perfect, nice chrome, (no accidents- CLEAN TITLE -see photo). No rust. The mileage reads 94,xxx (see photo). I don't know if thats the actual mileage, if there's 100k or more in front of the 94k, but I was told that the car hasn't been driven much at all in the last few years... The paint looks pretty good, its not original, it looks like a Candy Apple Red. I was told that it has the 18" SS wheels/rims. The tires are still good. The interior looks all original and well kept. From what I heard this car is pretty much all original except for the wheels, stereo, Nardi steering wheel, and paint. It runs ok (passed the smog check a few months ago-CURRENT TAGS), obviously not powerful like a V8, but more of a cruiser that will give descent mpg (in the mid 20s). I've had a few people look it and they all said that it looks great but if they bought it, 1st thing they'd do, is drop a 454 in it...whatever that means...apparently nobody around here is interested in a V6, so I take it this is a great project/restoration car... Like I mentioned above, I don't know much about cars, therefore I'm going to post lots a photos below, and a video of the car running, so hopefully that will give plenty of description about this El Camino, yet feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to reply with the best of my knowledge. Sold as is with some minor issues: The Horn doesn't work, the car came with NO spare tire/wheel. The wheels have lock nuts, but the car didn't come with the Lock Socket. The Right side high beam is out. Right side Chrome Rocker Panel is missing. Thank you, and happy bidding! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THnKQODujy4
