1950 Chev 3100 1/2 ton pickup project truck. Runs well, drives well. New brake shoes, springs, master cylinder, etc and stainless steel brake lines, rebuilt carb, new battery in 2010, major tune-up in late 2010, blue dot glass tail lamps, and new coil and starter. This is a solid truck that I bought off of a farm in Maryland. I dug manure and dirt out of the frame and suspension. This truck has the orginal motor (216cid), original trans (3 speed on the column), and what appears to be original shocks. The clutch is good. The solid steel body is still good. A little surface rust, and the running boards would probably need to be replaced, or, diamond plate could be used. The frame has been ground, sanded, and treated with POR-15. I have all of the original emblems, and a complete new wiring kit that has not been installed. The truck bed is simple stained 2x4's. Nothing pretty, but they work until someone decides to do the high-end oak boards !!! Truck has the original radio (doesn't work) and a passenger side heater (after market Firestone), and is the original 6V electrical system. This was going to be a rebuild project for me, but I've run out of time and ambition. So, I will gladly accept a reasonble offer. This vehicle is also advertised locally, so in the event that it is purchased before the auction ends, I reserve the right to pull this item from ebay. Thanks.
