For auction is this 2001 Honda Civic Lx 2dr. I am listing this for a friend. He is moving to the West coast and does not intend to take the car with him. The car also just failed E-check because the check engine light is on. The car runs and drives great. No problems at all. Everything works. Has new front brakes and all 4 tires are also new. A/C blows cold. Great transportation. I would call this a fixer upper unless you live in a county that does not require emission checks. I cleared the codes today and the light did not turn back on, so they are intermittent. The misfire code is definitely intermittent because the engine runs smooth through all the gears. The lock up converter is also intermit ant as no problem has been noticed in the trans, and the 1457 is an emission code that does not affect the way the car runs. In Ohio, certain counties require emission checks, and if you check engine light is one, it does not pass, no matter how good the car is running! I also wanted to let you know that the windshield is cracked and there is rust in the normal Honda location on the rear wheel wells. I have included pictures of the mentioned areas.
