1978 Honda XR

This 1978 Honda XR 75 is all original (except tires and plugs). I am the original owner of the bike. I rode it during the summers of 78 to 91, at that time I had to put it into storage until recently. Before storing it, all the gas was drained and the oil changed. When I took it out of storage last month, I added fresh fuel, drained and replaced the oil, checked the spark plug and I was off and riding. It started for me on the first kick. The tires are starting to show signs of dry-rot but they still hold air. There are sighs of wear and tear from normal use, but for its age it is in overall good condition. There are minor scratches on the tank and side panels, and the spark plug wire has had electrical tape on it since the mid 80's due to some minor cracking. The tip of the front brake lever is broken and the bottom skid plate has a few dents. There is minor seepage from the lower end, but does not leak. There is a repairable tear along the seam of the seat and a small dime size hole on the left rear. The bike has been ridden and trail tested, and runs great!!!! This would make a great vintage bike for any collector, riding enthusiast, or an easy father/son (daughter) restoration.
