The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on my experience driving it and my own observations. While I strive for complete accuracy in my descriptions, you are buying a used vehicle with miles in excess of 100k. I cannot guarantee anything. I am not a mechanic...please don't take my description as a professional mechanical report. I am not trained nor do I have the equippment to offer that. Each potential bidder is encouraged to come see and drive this vehicle in person before bidding. Vehicles are shown by appointment at my York, PA storage facility. Please take the time to read this entire description, including reviewing all of the photos as well as my terms & conditions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 2002 Saturn SC2. This one owner coupe is one of the nicest I have seen in a while, not taking into account the miles. I actually have a friend who works as a Saturn tech. He told me that this vehicle appears to have been dealer serviced. I would rate the exterior condition of this SC2 to be in EXCELLENT condition ( if you follow my auctions, I almost never give an excellent rating). The body lines of this coupe are perfect. If there are any scratches or scrapes, you'd need a magnifying glass to find them. The black paint has an excellent shine from any angle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. This is a hard top car which is good. The tires should give you another year...but they aren't great. Pride in ownership shows everywhere you look in this car. I would rate the interior condition of this SC2 to be in EXCELLENT condition also (which I almost never do). The door panels are clean and in tact. This is a 3 door coupe. The rear door works properly and all seals are in tact and look great. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout. The headliner is clean and in tact. The seats are in great condition and show no abnormal wear. This is a very well optioned Saturn. This coupe is equipped with power windows, locks and mirrors which are all in perfect working condition. Additionally, this one is equipped with fog lamps and traction control. The climate control system is working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. The stereo is the factory original CD system which sounds great. The original owners manuals are included, as well as the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. On top of that, you get two original keys and two remotes! The trunk is spacious and clean. This is truly a "no excuses" car. Mechanically, this Saturn appears to be a great runner. If you follow my auctions, you will see that I only buy Saturns with the 1.9L DOHC engine. This engine is remarkable...as you can see with this example. The odometer on this car reads just shy of 200k, but this would pass for a 20,000 mile car any day. The engine starts up easily and runs smoothly and quietly. I saw no leaks and no smoke coming from this car. The engine makes great power and runs well. The suspension, steering and brakes feel great. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. I had my Saturn guy go over this unit because of its miles. He noted that the transmission valve body had recently been rebuilt. Several lines under the car had been replaced with factory parts, not cheap aftermarket parts. Everything about this one says that it has been dealer maintained all of its life. I'd dare anyone to find a cleaner SC2...even with half the miles. The only thing I can think of that this car might need is a cam position sensor replaced. The lucky high bidder should be thrilled with this vehicle.
