1953 Chevrolet Suburban/Carryall from Illinois. this truck was brought to Indiana on a trailer 4 yrs ago. Very similar to This months Hotrod Magazine truck!!! Upon arrival,was completely dismantled . Previous owner had installed a 71 Nova clip and 10 Bolt rear(chained to axle).Power-washed all components and primed and painted frame with Napa single stage rust resistant paint. Installed 3" blocks and hoops on 10 bolt with leaf springs with all new bushings and bolts. Installed rebuilt 350 from 89 camaro and rebuilt 700r4, new driveshaft, new fuel tank(Rock Valley) and brakelines. 350 runs a Performer intake with Quadrajet and HEI dist. Aluminum radiator.New Grille and bumpers Converted front to disc brakes with a 7" booster,also new springs,upper and lower control arms/bushings/balljoints.Installed new Nova P.S. box with all new tierod ends,connector link and idler arm. All new rubber, glass, and wiring from EZ wire . Newport wipers and recored factory heater.Interior new/dolphin gauges and black split bench in front ,black full in back.Body work and Paint by local shop 2000 toyota silver bottom and black top. 265x65 15 rears and 215 65 15 in front ,all with American Racing Hopsters Drive it across the street or across the country
