Beautiful rustfree Ca. 53 Chevy shortbed pickup ! This truck was restored frame off about 4 years ago by the previous owner , it had some chips and wear when I got it so I completely disassembled it (glass and everything out) and repainted it a beautiful cream/beige color ( very close to Chevy "Moonlight Creme" . Has all new in the last month : PAINT / INTERIOR / green tinted GLASS / CHROME / WEATHERSTRIPPING / BED WOOD / POLISHED STAINLESS BED STRIPS/ FIRESTONE 16" WIDE WHITES/ ETC.ETC... Bed sides , front panel and tailgate are brand new - no dings or bondo on this bed !!! Has rare dual sidemount spares , 6 new hubcaps , current tags , new mufflers / starter , aluminum radiator , water pump , restored gauges . Has a later full pressure 235 that fires right up and runs like a top , no smoke , runs super cool . Has a later full syncro 3 speed on the floor with an open driveline rear end (balanced driveshaft and new U joints) , shifts as easy as pie and not limited to 53 miles per hour like stock . Stock 16" wheels , new shocks and brakes . I spent a lot of time and a fortune at the Truck shop making this truck nice . It turns heads and gets compliments like crazy . Clear Ca. title ready to go , I will deliver to the docks if you wish to export it . I have not fixed the wipers because I would never drive it in the rain (I can install an electric wiper setup for $400 additional above auction price ) I can make and install wood bed stakes as shown on my last truck , in the last picture (for an additional $250 above auction price ) I can do some tasteful stock style honey colored pinstriping by hand on the 6 wheels and around the beltline of the cab (for $300 above the auction price ). Truck is a couple inches lower than stock , I have stock front springs which I will include at no charge if the buyer would like , or I can install them and put the rear springs up to stock height for an additional ($400 above auction price ). It looks great the way it is , but it does ride a little rougher than stock . I will install new stainless windshield divider and wiper arms and blades (both of which I have already) this weekend . Sold as is , please ask any and all questions , have the truck inspected , come see it in person before bidding . I reserve the right to end the auction if a deal is struck .
