This truck started as a fire truck in Finley Lake NY. It has a 235 inline 6 cylinder that's a 55/57 truck motor which was rebuilt at some time.I had to replace the timing gear so I put a new cam in while it was apart.I have replaced all wheel cylinders and the master cylinder along with all the brake lines.It came to me with a 12 volt system.The king pins were replaced by me.I also had the radiator core replaced.It had a electric fuel pump on it and I put a stock mechanical one on it also.The electric one comes in handy to pump gas to the float bowl after its been siting awhile.It has a rebuilt speedo and all the other gauges work including the fuel gauge.It has new felt and weather striping around the new door glass along with new crank mechanisms.I installed electric windshield wipers too.The tires have less than a 1,000 miles on them. This truck runs and drives like a dream.Everything works as it supposed to including the heater.It has a few rust issues but nothing that can't be repaired.The worst problem is the deck under the drivers seat is damaged do to a improper seat install but the damage does not go through the floor pan.I drive this truck around Reno and always turns heads.It's a great truck for 63 years old .
