1961 Chevy Impala complete frame off restoration. This car has a rebuilt original 348 big block with updated seals, gaskets, and bearings. The engine was kept stock except stainless steel valves "to run regular unleaded, or high octane fuel" with a 409 cam and a Holley 4 barrel carburetor. A heavy duty Aluminum radiator was installed. The transmission is a 350 that was gone threw and a mild shift kit "shifts threw gears easily and smoothly" was installed with a external trans fluid cooler. The ball joints, bushings, tie rods, springs, brake drums, brake shoes, gas tank, are in good condition. The exhaust is dual 2 1/4 welded from front to rear "except mufflers" that was kept along frame for ground clearance. The frame, control arms, and springs are painted red. The doors have been shaved. 2 remote door poppers and a back up door switch is added. All the door jams, inner fenders, hood, trunk lid, inner and outer trunk floor, front cowl, fire wall, frame, under body are rust free. This car was completely restored about 5 years ago, it has been driven locally and shows minimum wear. Hard Top no window frames or door pillars.
