Up for auction is a 1988 Ford Mustang LX. The car has 21,000 original miles. The car was a one owner car before I bought it. It spent it’s whole life in Texas, so it is a clean rust free car. The looks and drives like a car with 21,000 miles should. I am 100% confident that these are the true miles. The pictures should speak for themselves the car is brand new. The car is highly optioned with power door locks and power windows. It also has A/C and I has been retrofitted and blows Ice Cold. The interior is absolutely flawless, and shows very well with no slouch on the seats and no wear marks on any components. The engine and drive train run great with no issues. The car does have factory mufflers, and the drive side muffler does have a pinhole in it, but does not sound bad. I did not do anything with the exhaust system because I want the car to be original. Everything on the car is original besides the battery and alternator. These two things have been changed because the previous owner used to let the car sit for long periods of time. The heater core is bypassed. The car does have original equipment tires and they do have slight flat spots in them. The are not great but not horrible. I keep them on for originality and looks. I drive the car often with these tires and there are no issues with them. The body has had a repaint due to fading. The paint is very very nice and has some minor chips here and there. The paint is not perfect but shows excellent. The original pinstripe is painted back on the car like it originally was. Everything was removed from the car before the repaint including the roof moldings and quarter glass. The quarter glass is in great shape with no cracking or splitting. The body has all vin tags visible. When the car was painted each vin tag was taped of perfectly and looks the part. The windshield is crystal clear with no pits or sandblasting. The body was in great condition before it was painted, but it needed to be perfect because of the miles that is why I had it done. None of the molding have ripples the doors do not hang by any means and the body is laser straight. The car has zero rust any where on the car that’s is why I did not take pictures of the hatch and doors. Any bidder worried about rust I will send extra pictures. The car has original keys and owners manual. I hate to sell this car but I have a few fox bodies and just do not have enough room. This car will not disappoint you and can be driven anywhere. You could fly from anywhere in the states and drives this car home. Once again this car has 21,000 miles that should speak for itself.
