I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4-door short box pickup truck for sale. It has the 5.9L V8, automatic transmission, 4x4, herculiner bed liner, cold air intake, power windows, power locks, power mirrors and mirror defrost.. It has about 153,000 miles on it, subject to change as I am still driving it. Previous owner used it as a work truck, so it has some dents and dings. Some rust on the lower part of the doors and a crack in the lower part of the windshield (does not obstruct view). I bought it to use in the winter because I went to college up north in Houghton, MI (lots of snow). I have never been stuck in this truck (mud or snow) and wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 500+ mile trip right now. I have personally driven it up to Houghton (500 miles) and back down (another 500 miles) multiple times and have never had a problem with this vehicle. This thing is a beast; it has a lot of power and has hauled/towed everything that I have needed it too and still has power left when fully loaded. There a re a few lights on the dash that say there are problems with the truck but they have been on for over a year and I have never had a problem with these aspects of the vehicle. I will also include some extra tires. I have a pair of 285/75R16 tires with aluminum Dodge rims and 3 12.5x15 tires with steel rims. They all have a little tread left and I have no problem using them through the winter myself, especially with a truck like this. A Haynes repair manual will also go with the truck. I like to work on my own vehicles and these manuals are great for doing just that. A spare wheel bearing will also go along with the truck. More pictures available upon request. According to Kelley Blue Book this truck is worth $4620 in fair condition. I am asking $4500.
