1996 Triumph Trophy

Here is an opportunity to own one of the finest sport tourers ever built. I have owned several touring bikes by Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati, Buell and BMW and the Trophy is by far my favorite. The motor produces a prodigious amount of torque that is quite addictive. It is a stout motorcycle built for the long term. This bike was part of a motorcycle collection which I maintained during my riding career. It has always been properly stored in a climate controlled environment and properly maintained. Regretably my riding days have come to an end and I am offering this bike for sale. The bike has approximately $4000 in extras. Triumph Factory 6 puck brakes replaced the stock units and offer incredable stopping power. Heavy duty Racetech front springs eliminated any vagueness in the front end and compliment the enhanced braking power well. The carbs were rejetted with a Dynajet kit and a K&N air filter installed. A Triumph factory race shock was installed which enhanced the handling and comfort of this great bike. The optional rear trunk was installed for greater storage capacity. An airflow touring windshield was installed to eliminate buffiting. Some other additions are a Triumph tank pad, and factory fender extenders. The tires have about 50% tread remaining, and the bike comes with a new Yuasa maintenance free battery. I am the original owner of this bike and used it to tour the USA. The bike won the "Best Equiped Trophy" at the Triumph Across America Ride final festivities in Pasadena CA. Great memories, but it is time to find a new owner who can enjoy this bike as much as I have. This bike is in excellent condition and only needs a new rider.
