Vehicle Detail
Selling is my 2005 Subaru Impreza RS, it has 26,889 original and actual miles on it, a 2.5 Liter non-turbo 4 Cylinder engine, automatic transmission, all wheel drive, you honestly won't think of a better car for our Ohio winters! I purchased the car from a guy in Cleveland who's wife got into an accident with it during an ice storm from what I got. The absolutely only reason I'm not keeping it for myself is because my wife has gotten used to the extra room in our Scion xB backseat and it really counts when you have a baby and a car seat to toggle around all the time. Repairs were professional dealt with at Alex Auto Body (it is my father's shop where we work together, this is my car which I personally worked on) replacing the front bumper cover, front left fender (both purchased brand new from the dealer), repaired the hood and front right fender, both of the headlights were replaced with brand new aftermarket ones, the radiator, condenser, and one cooling fan were also replaced. In addition to the front, the rear right side was lightly clipped during that accident so the rear right taillight was also replaced and that quarter had very minor repairs done (just where it touches sides with the taillight). Also, because the car was sitting around since winter when the previous owner's wife got into that winter accident, the rotors have begun to rust. I've been driving the car locally and they've been clearing up with more driving. The car brakes just like it should; but replacing them with new ones is something to consider if you're touchy on the matter. Alignment was not affected on the car so it still drives straight without pulling the car to either side. Tires are alright but will probably need changing soon. Car has a brand new timing belt on, the car runs and drives great, has no problems, airbags never deployed so they are still all intact. Prior to my ownership the guy from Cleveland said his local body shop replaced the rear right door and replaced the rear right quarter (it wasn't bad and they could've fixed it but they decided to make it nicer and replaced it altogether). Vehicle has a CD player, AM/FM radio, power windows, power door locks (rear left door does't lock though so you have to lock it by hand), power mirrors, power sunroof, cold A/C, and 2 keys. I took pictures a few hours ago to include with this listing but the sun was setting and affected their quality so I included a few pictures I had from earlier to give you a better idea what the car really looks like. If at all possible, please contact me to arrange a time for you to come down and see it in person before you bid! If you are unable to do so, please review my feedback, notice I don't hide anything and try my absolute best to keep my customers happy! Obviously serious buyers only, please do NOT bid if you do not have the money and/or do not plan on purchasing this vehicle! I have bills coming up to pay and don't have time to be relisting the car due to dead bidders! Do remember that it is a used car so don't expect showroom condition! A few things on the topic, I accidentally pushed the lower shell of the trunk lid inside, and when I attempted to pop it back out it left a wrinkling look to it if you look closely enough. Also, the passenger fog light cover was slightly damaged from the accident the car was in and wouldn't snap back into place so I put a small screw in to keep it firmly in place and did my best to make it as discrete as possible, though you can still see it if you look closely enough. Other than those two small cosmetic glitches there is nothing wrong with the car. Engine and transmission both run and shift with no problems at all. Vehicle holds a Rebuilt Title which is in hand and ready to transfer. Rebuilt Titled cars are registered and insured just like any other Clear Titled cars out there. My father has driven our entire family in rebuilt vehicles, purchased rebuilt vehicles for myself and my 2 sisters when we were old enough to drive, and now I'm married and drive my wife and 5 month old son in a rebuilt 2006 Scion xB. If the repairs are properly done, I can not nor is there any reason to doubt a rebuilt vehicle's reliability or safety! Vehicle will sell to the highest bidder (NO EARLY SALES!!), auction has NO RESERVE!! Vehicle is sold as is and with no warranty._____________________________________________________________________________________________ If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, either email me or call/text me at (330) 319-4515_____________________________________________________________________________________________On Sep-21-11 at 12:43:04 PDT, seller added the following information: A few additional things that have come up. Cruise control doesn't seem to work. I don't know what the problem with that is, the cruise control light simply blinks on the dash, that's all I know. Also, a check engine light has recently come on. Auto Zone claims it's the front oxygen sensor (the one before the catalytic converter). They don't have any in stock and say they can't order any from their vendor at this time so the car is sold as is with these issues, please bid accordingly. If you've already bid and have been outbid, please do not cancel your bid and interfere with the auction. Thank you
