YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 1985 DODGE OMNI GLH TURBO 2.2 5-SPEED GLH (GOES - LIKE - HELL) CARROLL SHELBY. THIS AUCTION IS FOR A 85 DODGE OMNI GLH TURBO 2.2 5-SPEED. I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR SENSE DECEMBER OF LAST YEAR. I WAS DRIVING THE CAR EVERYDAY. THE CAR RAN AND DROVE VERY GOOD. THE MOTOR RAN VERY GOOD NO NOISE NO SMOKE. TURBO WORKED VERY GOOD ABOUT 8 - 10 LBS BOOST. TRANSMISSION SHIFTED VERY GOOD. THE CARE DROVE STRAIGHT ON THE HIGH WAY. VERY QUICK CAR. ABOUT A MONTH AGO THE CAR DIED. I CHECKED THE CAR AND IT IS GETTING GAS BUT NO SPARK TO THE COIL WIRE. I TRIED CHANGING THE COIL BUT STILL NO FIRE, SO I AM NOT SURE WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CAR. THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS WERE IS AND WILL NEED TO BE TOWED! I WILL TRY TO DESCRIBE THE CAR THE BEST I CAN. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK THEM BEFORE YOU BID. THE BALANCE OF THE PAYMENT IS DUE IN CASH WHEN THE CAR IS PICKED UP OR PAID THOUGH PAYPAL 5-DAYS BEFORE THE CAR IS PICKED UP. THE CAR IS IN PRIMER. THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR DOES HAVE SOME DINTS. THE REST OF THE CAR IS IN PRITTY GOOD SHAPE. DOES HAVE SOME DENGS HERE AND THERE. NOT MUCH RUST ON THE BODY. LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE HAS PATCHED THE FLOORS AT ONE TIME. THE DRIVER SIDE ROCKER HAS BEEN DINTED BUT DID NOT DAMAGE THE ROCKER SPOILER. ALL DOORS OPEN AND SHUT GOOD. BOTTOM OF BACK SEAT DOES HAVE A SMALL TEAR. THE REST OF THE INTERIOR INCLUDING CARPET IS IN GOOD SHAPE. THE CAR HAD NEW BRAKES ALREADY PUT ON IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT. IT HAS P205 50 R 15 TIRES. Appropriately named "Goes-Like-Hell", this Dodge Omni was created with Carroll Shelby’s company The 1985 and 1986 Omni GLHs were available with either the 110-bhp high-output engine or a 146-bhp turbo 2.2-liter engine, which created a power rocket waiting to fly off the road. Alloy wheels, unique tape decor and ground effects rounded out the package. The turbocharged engine had torque in abundance, with 170 lb-ft peaking at a low 3,600 rpm; when one considers that the light Omni was fairly quick with the 96 horsepower 2.2, the turbocharged version’s power ratings become more impressive. On Sep-13-11 at 12:50:28 PDT, seller added the following information: No rust though on the outside of the body. The frame, firewall, shock towers, and floors all look good but someone has patched a hole in the driver side floor. The patch is about 8"x4". Looks like they did a good job. The underneath of the car has been undercoated.
