Up for sale is a really descent 1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo CL. ____________________________________________________ We originally bought it as a daily driver but ended up buying a brand new car recently so we don't need this one anymore. It is a very descent car. The people that we bought it from rebuilt almost everything in this car. New parts installed: ________________ New 327 V8 (Large Journal, post-1968 engine), Rebuilt 200 4-R Automatic Overdrive Transmission, Rebuilt 10 bolt rear end, Rebuilt Front & Rear Brakes, Rebuilt Front Suspension (Including a new Quick Ratio power steering box...$400 +), New front & rear Hotchkis Performance sway bars, New front windshield, tinted glass, New CD player, New alarm system (That I can't figure out...ha ha ha). Brand new Grant Woodgrain steering wheel. Overall: ___________ This is a pretty nice Monte Carlo. There is no rust that I can find. Has a couple of small dings...but the driver side door has a fair size dent (Easy Fix, Low Cost)....Everything works including: The turn signals, lights, parking lights, underhood lamps, back-up lights, markers, license plate lights, trunk light, dash, etc. The car drives down the road very nice and corners EXTREMELY WELL. Since the suspension is rebuilt...it drives great! Turns on a dime because of the new quick ratio turning box. The tires are like new on some 15"x7" Chevelle Rallye Wheels. The air conditioning does work but will need recharged. All of the electrical works with no problems. We don't know exactly what the mileage is on the new 327 V8 engine...but it couldn't be over 10k that I know of. The interior is pretty clean, never been smoked in.
