Vehicle Detail
1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme VIN# 1G3AR47A6DM334063 93,333 Miles Up for auction is a 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 2 Dr. Black Exterior/Burgundy Interior. I purchased this car from the previous owner in good working condition except the engine which had a rod nock and needed repair. Since I originally had intentions of building a drag car, I just removed the engine (originally a 3.8L V-6). The car is being sold without an engine. The car also does not have a radiator, driveshaft, carpet, or exterior badges. It does come with the original 3speed automatic transmission though. I have removed the interior door panels but they are still inside it. I have an extra set of front grilles in good shape that come with the car too. This car has a rebuilt title from around 2001. While the car no longer appears to have any major damage, I suspect that front end damage was the reason for the title issue. I’m sure the front grill shell has been replaced with another OEM piece and it’s possible that other front end parts could have been replaced at that time as well. The paint job has typical imperfections including oxidation, scratches, and small rust bubbles. The car body also has a few small dents. The trunk has a small rust hole in the driver’s side which I have pictured. Both of the doors have rust on the bottoms. The frame and rear axle have surface rust on them. The interior of the car is in fair shape and would be good “driver” quality after reassembly. The car also has a Grant GT wood steering wheel. The tires all hold air and are good rollers but, will need to be replaced before use. The brakes worked great when parked but, will probably need attention before use. This car has been stored in a concrete floor barn for the past 7 years. Overall, I think this car is still pretty solid considering its age. This car would be a great start to a drag car, street car, or custom project. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty expressed, written, or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. All sales are final. Thanks and Bid with Confidence!
