1994 Mazda Miata (MX-5) This car is near perfect for a 1994 Miata with only 72,050 miles. It's fully loaded and garage kept since it was new in March of 1994 (except for the last few months when we got a new car)! We are the original owners. The color is called "Brilliant Black" and it has a tan leather interior and tan soft top. The car also features a black, factory original, hard top! The look of the car really changes with the hard top installed. It's like having two different cars. The factory original hard top adds value to the car as these are highly desirable to Miata racing enthusiasts. It alone could be worth $1,000. If you like Miatas, you'll be very happy with this one. Items to note: 1) The soft top is the original one that came with the car so, as you can imagine, you'll need to have it replaced. The plastic window is cloudy and the window zipper is not working. The hard top is currently on the car. 2) The car runs great but it's a little rough at idle. 3) The car is 17 years old. While it has been amazingly trouble free for those 17 years, know that you are buying a 17 year old car. 4) The car has always passed state inspections and has a current California registration. Check eBay and craiglist for used OEM or Factory hard tops and you'll see them in the range of $800 - $1500 (not the $49 edmunds' claims).
