Here we have for auction is a very rough 1979 10th Anniversary Trans Am, also known as the TATA. This is a matching numbers car and seems to be all original. I bought this car in the early summer with plans of restoring it a couple years down the road, however, I no longer have my storage building and now it is sitting in my driveway with a cover on it. My plans for this car was to buy a donor car and replace cowl with vin and the rest of the matching number components. I personally would not consider this car to be restorable without a donor as for the rust is everywhere. Probably not a good panel on it. I considered parting out the vehicle, however it will only be in my driveway for several months.Now for the goods. Clear Title and matching numbers. Original "X" car. T-Tops are usable. Motor fires and sounds good. All components under the hood look original and are complete. Believe it or not, but everything electrically works!!! Lights, wipers, signals, blower, and yes even the clock. Restored value of this car can reach well over 25k. This car is being sold "AS IS". I am not selling a car that you can drive home, so plan on shipping the vehicle. Winning bidder is responsible for shipment from 43551. The title has 127,000 miles on it but the odometer is reading 85k on it so I have no idea which is accurate.
