You are viewing a 1971 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Coupe, currently stored under cover in my garage. The car runs , performs, and drives as one would expect. It is as original condition car as expected and can be driven in its current condition and enjoyed or one could restore partially or fully if so desired. The mileage is correct. Recently had the local Jaguar Dealer whom mainatins some veteran staff, complete a few minor repair/maintenance items they suggested that are now complete. Radio works and even has a 8-Track player. Serial number is P2R28728 and the date of Manufacture is 11/70.....mileage - 86,744 I do have additional pictures if so requested, but you would need to send your actual e-mail address to be able to receive them, and I send them. The car is located in St. Louis, Missouri middle of the United States and can also be purchased and shipped probably to just about anywhere in the World. Some of the end of production cars had series 3 bonnets like your car. Jaguar Etype The Definitive History by Philip Porter has a list of production for 1970-71 and the 2R chassis are right at the end of series 2 production and only 17 cars were imported to the USA in 1971 and that was the last of the series 2.
