Vehicle Detail

!957 Chevy Bel Air coupe, no post. Frame off restoration aprox 10 years ago.It has only been driven aprox 300 miles since. Stored indoors in my showroom for the last 10 years. The owner of this car recently passed away so I am selling it for the family. Unfortunately the owner knew the most about the car, I am going on what I have been told by him and his family members over the years. He was not a real car guy!, He always wanted a 57 chevy so he had this one restored, He spent over $75k having the car done. He drove it for 1 week and hated it !! He told me everywhere he went people would come up to him and ask him about the car, (he was a shy guy) He loved to come into my store and sit in it or take it for a quick ride. He just did not like all the attention he got in the car. Different stokes..... The car is in better than new condition,It was basicly restored to original condition with a few upgrades to improve reliability, original 283 V-8 engine (rebuilt) original 2 speed trans (rebuilt) original rear end (rebuilt) The body was completely stripped to bare metal, repaired and painted a metallic blue, every peice of chrome was rechromed or replaced. He always told me that there was no bondo in this car,Its all real metal he would say. The interior is like brand new with no stains or burns, tears ect, never smoked in, as far as I know its all original except the seats, steering column, radio, when i say original i mean original type.not the actual 57 original part. other than the radio and steering column-seat it all looks like the original. Under the hood it has a MSD ignition system and an alternator, Holley carb ,other than that, it looks original. The suspension is all original but rebuilt with all new bushings, rubbers, tie rods ball joints ect....fuel tank, fuel lines, power steering pump and box are all new. brakes are all new from the master to the wheel cylinders, shoes, drums, etc.all new wiring harness and electrical components.American racing wheels with bfg tires in like new condition.. He said to me many times that he had the car disassembled right down to the bare body and put back together with all new parts including new bolts, glass, door handles, lenses, chrome, engine trans, rear end, etc. And it looks it. Its definately the nicest one i have ever seen. Even at shows and cruz nights none look as new as this one. Its only been washed maybe 5 times since it was restored. so the paint and chrome does not have swirl marks and fine scratches that come with any new car over time just from cleaning it. Look at the pictures and e-mail me with any questions I will do my best to get the answers for you. Also I am going on What I have been told. You should verify by personal inspection or some other means anything you feel is important. I have given an accurate and honest description to the best of my ability. You will not be dissapointed with this car in any way. GOOD LUCK..---> http://s665.photobucket.com/albums/vv15/buickgs66/1957%20chevy%20for%20sale/ <---- , You can copy ,between the arrows, and paste it into your browser,it will bring you to photobucket. you can blow up the pictures by clicking on them.or make it a slide show..----> http://s665.photobucket.com/albums/vv15/buickgs66/1957%20chevy%20for%20sale/ <-------This car is being relisted as the owner has lowered the reserve, it almost made it last time, But that is all I will say about the reserve, so please do not ask me the reserve!! it is an auction!! please bid up to your budget or what you think its worth. Everyone e-mails me with whats the reserve? ITS NOT but LETS JUST SAY i tell everyone the reserve is 100k if its more than your budget then you dont even bother bidding and the bid does not go up or no one bids, and i just wasted my time and money! so I will not disclose the reserve! please do not ask, just bid your heart and mind.Bid to WIN as its a much nicer car in person and the pictures do not do this car justice..I did have 1 local person look at the car in person during the last auction, He said to me : wow this car is so much nicer in person,I would be afraid to drive it,its way to nice to be driven and should be in a museum! Unfortunately its way out of his budget. I believe the car is nice but should be driven and enjoyed, maybe not a daily driver, but definately driven to shows and cruse nites etc.. It will win trophys for sure.I went to an annual car show this weekend,600 cars total, 12 cars were 57chevys ,most were post coupes, this car is alot nicer than the car that won 1st place in the 50s class, I should have entered it ,or brought it for sale, I found out about the show too late........ Also stupid questions like, How fast is it? will not be answered! Enough of my rambling , check out my other auction for the 1966 Buick Skylark GS custom street rod....GOOD LUCKOn Sep-11-11 at 09:17:34 PDT, seller added the following information:I figured out the link thing , so if i did this right there should be a link below to all the pictures, you can click on (view all),click on the first picture to enlarge, then you should see a (next) button above the picture,You can use this to scroll thru all the picts. If you click again on the picture you can enlarge them more. Also I had someone e-mail me last time i ran this, He waited till the last 1 minute to bid and he could not get his bid in. There is currently over 100 people watching this car, The buy it now is a great deal!!On Sep-11-11 at 09:18:27 PDT, seller added the following information:
