THERE WERE 4265 1971 340 4 SPEED CARS BUILT! · 4000 miles on this ground up restoration costing $50,000+ · EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR IS NEW OR REBULT! · Every nut bolt and washer cleaned or replaced. · All the stainless steel trim was removed, refinished, coated and replaced. · Original “shark tooth” grill restored, you will not believe the condition of the original turn signal lights. · New gas and brake lines, bushings, seals, and body plugs. · Numbers matching 340 block, stroked to 416, please email for details, 382 HP 425 ft lb of torque, but looks completely stock. · Thermoquad carburetor. · Special “lock up” motor mounts. · All paint dobs replaced as per the factory dobs as found on disassembly. · Numbers matching stock intake and exhaust manifolds both extrune honed for better flow. (not operating) current am radio was converted to am/fm but comes with the factory am radio. · Rare factory rear window defogger · Rare light package, trunk, fender mount turn signals, map light, key light. While all drive train numbers match, the original color on this car was Auburn Brown Metalic, not "In Violet" or "Plum Crazy" THIS CAR GOES LIKE HELL AND LOOKS COMPLETELY STOCK!!! I require a $1000.00 deposit within 48 hours of the auction ending. A non-deposit will result in a non paying bidder. Acceptable payment for deposit is a wire transfer. I will not accept cashiers checks or money orders. After deposit you can pay again by bank transfer. I encourage bidder to have a personal inspection done on this vehicle. I do have it on a power lift for underside inspection. There will be no inspection allowed after the bidding is closed.
