This BMW 318i is being relisted due to a non paying ebay member (juicybaybee12108 of Woodbridge, VA) who never contacted me after the auction or responded to any of my attempts to contact them. Please only bid if you intend to honor your bid. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicels differently than your traditional dealer. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealership might ask for a similar vehicle. Before I list a vehicle on eBay, I personally road test it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Then I write a description so it feels as if you've driven it yourself. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Pre-bid inspections are welcomed and encouraged whenever possible. Vehicles are shown by appointment at my York, PA storage facility. Serious buyers are encouraged to request a private showning. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles sold are "as-is". Most vehicles I sell are traded in at local dealerships and have not been serviced or reconditioned prior to sale. Please read the entire description and review all photos carefully before bidding or asking questions. Everything I know about this vehicle is fully disclosed within the following paragraphs... Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a great looking 1993 BMW 318i. As you can see from the photos, this is a great looking BMW. The dark red paint has an excellent shine that looks good from any angle. There are no dings, dents or scratches worth mentioning. All of the glass and lenses are in tact. The right parking lights are out. The tires are in fair condition all around. This is a great looking little BMW. I would rate the condition of the exterior of this BMW as ABOVE AVERAGE. The 318 is often overshadowed by the 325/328 but they are also great cars. The 1.8L engine is very reliable and can deliver upwards of 40mpg on the highway. I would also rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The door panels are all clean and in tact. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout. The seats are all in great condition and show almost no wear. The headliner is clean and in tact except the piece of cloth that goes to the sunroof is missing. The climate control system is fully operational and provides separate temperature settings for the driver and passenger. The air conditioner will need charged/serviced. The stereo system is the original BMW system and it still sounds good. The instruent cluster/console lights do not work. Most likely cause is a fuse but the whole thing is in German. I don't know these cars well enough to fix it. A good BMW mechanic should be able to know the cause with minimal effort/diagnostics. The trunk is clean and spacious. I recently replaced the battery. A complete set of original books, manuals and cassette's are still in the glove box along with factory touch up paint. It's obvious that the owner took great pride in this BMW. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running condition. The 1.8L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. During my road test, this car showed excellent road manners. During my road test, the engine kept proper temperature and there were no warning lights on. The suspension and steering are both nice and tight. The brakes stop this car easily and with no issues. Out on the highway, this BMW drives strait as an arrow with no pulling or vibrations at speed. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. I am not aware of any mechanical issues. The little 4 cylinder engines are very tough. It's common to see this engine approaching the 300k mark. This isn't my first 318. They don't have quite the punch of a 325 but, if you drive a lot, you will be glad you purchased the 318i. It delivers tremendous fuel economy and everything else you like about the 3 series. Fly in and drive this car anywhere. With just 129k, she is ready for the road. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
