Vehicle Detail
This very rare, unmodified SE-R model Nissan Sentra is being re-listed due to a non paying bidder (geemolden of Elk Grove, California). Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealership might ask for a similar vehicle. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test each vehicle so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Pre-bid inspections are welcomed and encouraged whenever possible. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and are not serviced or reconditioned before sale unless specifically stated otherwise. Please read the entire description and review all photos carefully before asking questions or placing a bid. Any known issues are fully disclosed within this description. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1991 Nissan Sentra. This example is the hard to find SE-R model. What is special about this one is that it has relatively low miles, looks to be in near new condition and appears to have had only one owner! The heart of the SE-R model is the famous 2.0L SR20DE engine with a close ratio manual transmission. As you can see, this little Nissan is in excellent condition. The bright red paint is in great condition and shows very well with no noteworthy flaws. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The tires are in great condition all around. These little cars are hard to find...and the SE-R model are becoming more and more scarce, especially one that is bone stock. I would rate the interior of this Sentra as ABOVE AVERAGE. The door panels have custom red leather inserts that match the shifter boot and steering wheel cover. The sport seats are in great condition and are very comfortable. The carpets are pretty clean and full looking. The cloth to the headliner is missing. The power sunroof and mirrors both work properly. The stereo is not the original but it sounds fine. The climate control works properly and the air conditioning blows ice cold...I mean like freeze you out of the car type cold. The trunk is clean and very good sized. A set of floor mats come with the car as well as multiple keys. It's obvious that this was somebody's baby. Mechanically, this little Nissan seems to run like a champ! The perviously mentioned SR20DE starts right up and runs smoothly. It makes good power and revs to its 7,500rpm redline with ease. I noticed no leaks or smoke. During my road test, this car exhibited excellent road manners. The suspension and steering feel nice and tight like they should. The brakes stop the car easily and without issue. There were no warning lights on and the engine keeps a cool temperature at all times. The clutch grabs strong and feels good. Gear changes are super smooth. This car is an absolute blast to drive. It's quick to rev and it's geared perfectly. This 2.0L engine is only available in specific models ( SE-R Sentra, NX2000 and Infiniti G20) in the U.S. and is known for its power and reliability. This is an opportunity to grab up one of the most sought after old school Japanese tuner cars ever made. What's even more special about this one is that it hasn't been beaten or modified up like most have been by now. A wise person once told me..."never buy another man's hot rod"...which has proven to be great advise. Finding a car like this that is still stock is next to impossible. I have been selling cars on ebay for a year now and this is the nicest SE-R I have ever seen! Since the bidder from California didn't follow through with the purchase (big shocker), I have had the chance to drive this car all over. I've put a few hundred miles on it with absolutely no issues. It's hard not to smile like a little kid when you drive this car. It revs high, revs hard...and has gobs of torque. For all you Honda drivers who aren't familiar with torque, that's what makes a car accellerate when it's not at full throttle/near redline...you all should try it, haha. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
