Power- The is a high performance vehicle with a lot of power and comfort. Under the hood resides a 5.5 liter super-charged V8 engine that drives 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It comes with the AMG speedshift five-speed transmission equipped with shift paddles that are mounted to the steering wheel, Formula 1 style. The driver can choose between automatic and manual five speed forward transmission. In manual, the driver can shift gears via the paddles on the steering wheel or by toggling the gear shift lever. It can reach 60 MPH in 4.5 seconds. It is a smooth ride at 90, 120, or 70 MPH.Design- Inside the car features a sport steering wheel and special sport seats upholstered in exclusive leather. The doorsils are trimmed in chrome with the AMG logo and the pedals are polished with stainless steel and rubber studs. The seats have substantial side bolsters to help hold the occupants in place during high speed cornering. It has a matte silk burr walnut interior trim, automatic climate control, and bi-xenon headlights with an Active Light System that illuminates around turns. Adaptive front air bags, side-impact and side-curtain airbags, and front seat pretensioners with force limiters help keep the occupants safe. Other things- The car is equipped with Airmatic semi-active air suspension that include stiffer adaptive damping springs and shocks. To tailor the suspension, the driver can choose between comfort and sport mode as well as choosing a combination of the the two. Automatic load leveling keeps the AMG on an even keel no matter how many passengers are long for the ride. The car has a command center in the steering wheel that operates the cruise control, navigation system, satelitte radio, a interchangeable 6 CD player, an tire air pressure controller that monitor tire pressures and alers the driver if any tire goes below 23 psi. It also has seat dynamic technology (that the driver or front seat passenger can choose to activate) whereby the seat adjust to the curves and dynamics of the car. In a sharp turn, the outer part of the seat reaches up and holds the driver and/or front seat passenger in place during the turn and then releases them when the turn is over. There are many other alarms/alerts that the command center provides the driver from oil, temperature levels, to the timing of routine maintenance. The seats can cool and heat the passengers as well as perform chair massages on the driver and front seat passenger.Personal note- This is a super-model car. It doesn't get casual glances, It is in fact a head-turner. I have never driven this car and I mean never....driven this car where I didn't get (not only looks but) positive comments from other car owners. I have had countless occurances where all types of cars have wanted to race me. It is absolutely the best car I have ever owned.Purchase arrangements- I would rather not ship the car. If you want to come here to get it, I would certainly cover your basic travel expenses (i.e., airline tickets, realistic incidentals, etc.). I am looking for a complete transaction where you pay me and I handle the title exchange.
