This is a documented, unmolested and fully serviced Guard's Red over Champagne leather six-speed coupe, with exceptionally low original miles. This car is a diamond. If there is a stone chip on this car, I cannot find it. It is truly showroom new, always garaged and 100% functional. The paint shows no evidence to me, of hazing and oxidation and is as shiney as new. The interior has been exceptionally well maintained with no rips, tears or stains, and no smoking. This is a very rare and collectable Porsche. The 968 model was made for only four years and discontinued due to perceived competition with the 911. There were about 12,000 made in four years globally, with half sold in the USA. In 1994, 2,484 were made, with 1519 sold in the USA and this is one of 778 Coupes. It was the most powerful production 4-cyllinder ever produced, with 236 HP and 0-60 times of 6.1 seconds. This tops most 60"s muscle cars, as well as the 911 up until the late 1980's, but does it without straining. There is a perfect 50/50% weight distribution, making this car handle like on rails. 80% of the car's parts are different than the 944, but are readily available. This car has a clean car fax, the original window sticker and other documentation, tools, owners manuel, and shows no sign of historical damage physically or on paper. I just completed the timing chain and water pump service simply due to age, as well as every other service and fluid change, and the documentation shows over $4200 in maintenence this year. I bought this car in April as an investment. I also have a 1995 black Collector Edition and a few other Porsches. Need garage space and searching for a 928. This car has been babied and driven responsibly. This Options include the very important limited slip differential, leather seating, shift knob and steering wheel, painted wheel crests and a Porsche car cover. The original cassette has been replaced by an Alpine CD player, but everything else is original. Full power, ABS, AC, two airbags, pwr. seats, windows, mirrors, sunroof, locks, defrost, rear wiper, and all other standard equipment common on Porsches. I can help or arrange delivery.
