Listed for auction is my 1964 BMW r50 motorcycle which I have owned for the last 7 years. This matching numbers bike has 25,698 on it and has not been restored except for wheels and new tires. The chrome wheels have been restored with new stainless spokes, new brake shoes and wheel bearings. The bike runs very well and starts easily. I have done nothing mechanically to it except oil changes. I have no prior history to offer on the BMW and the new owner will have to decide on cleaning the slingers. The BMW is ready to ride and enjoy now. The gas tank is clean inside, all electrical items work, and the motor has stainless steel head pipes. My goal was to restore the r50 as it could use paint and chrome but never got around to it. I have another r60 I ride and just don't need this machine. I have no other parts, manuals, or tool kit that go with the r50. The clear Ohio title is in my name. I have no key for the fork lock or tool box.
