Today i am selling my 1985 Mercedes 300TD turbo diesel wagon . 1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous and practical wagons of the 123 series . It was the last year with the bullet proof 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine , which is known to go for a million miles with the right maintenance . There are several Mercedes diesel of this era here on Ebay right now with over 400k miles and still running well .  My car was finished in "Classic White " ( MB color code 737 ) with navy blue MB-Tex interior . The body and the paint are in great condition . There are no dings, dents or scratches . The windows have always been tinted , so the interior is in very nice shape as well . There are no rips or tears in the seats or door panels , the carpets are clean and even the wood is good shape .  The car is mostly original except for the radio and the rims . The radio has been upgraded to to a newer unit featuring a CD-player and a input for an ipod . The rims have been changed to newer style Mercedes rims with brand new ( less than 2000 miles on them ) BF Goodrich tires . I still have the original rims and you could choose to either have the original or the newer rims . The car also does have the 3rd seat option including seat-belts . This way you can legally seat 7 people in this wagon . It was a rare and expensive option in 1985 .  The car has been maintained well and it runs accordingly . Just recently we had a new fuel-pump installed , the valves adjusted and the fluids and filters changed . We also charged the AC last month and it is blowing cold . I just took the car to San Diego last weekend and would not hesitate to drive it across country on short notice . It has been very reliable for us and it is a pleasure to drive .  I would prefer to sell the car here in town to somebody who could actually come by and see it , but i would also be willing to help with shipping or a airport pick up . Of course shipping would be at the expense of the buyer .  This is a wonderful 26 year old car in great condition and it will be sold without a warranty " as is" and "where is " .
