1968 PONTIAC FIREBIRD needs restoring but is a good solid car. Having baby soon that has forced my sell of a project i really wanted to finish. Car was born a 6 cylinder i believe, that and a powerglide was in car when i bought it. I sold that combo and took a 1973 400 out of my 66 gto that was running great( inside motor is like new). This 400 is included in auction with a 4 speed trans that i was converting over to. Also included in the sell is a complete exhaust from headers back( like new) that was removed from a 68 camaro i owned. The exhaust was cut with a exhaust cutting tool and will only have to be tacked and then welded. The car is very straight except for drivers side rear corner and corner of tail section that was bumped at a stop sign when previous owner was driving it. Both lips on quarters are rusted as well as a partial floor pan on passenger side will need to be replaced. Trunk and rear panel below rear glass is in great shape. The body is straight and panel alignment is real good. All wires under hood is intact nothing was cut. Trim around windows that is off now is included in sale. Window on drivers side is off track and will need to be fixed to roll up and down. A great solid car to be restorded. Georgia is a non title state and the previous owner lost it. I will provide a bill of sale and show the car being registered in Augusta Ga.( daily driver a few months ago) in 2011. Some people want some pictures of posts, floorpans and quarters and if you want send me your email and i will send more pictures. The passenger has a hole about 8 inch by 12 inch the rest are good. Looks like a previous owner might have put a jack under floor boards instead of frame because they are minor bent upward.( can be knocked down easily.
