We have a program and cables available where you can adjust it's max spead to 35 mph... but driving it at higher speeds would, at a minimum, shorten your range (and you may want to check with your state regulations before modifying). ~~~~ Charging/Range: The manufacturer advertised it's range as 40 miles per charge. We never tested this claim (our needs only required us to go 10 to 15 miles per charge). The initial charge is quick... then it slows down as it tops off. Fully depleted batteries take about 8 hours to recharge. It plugs into a regular 3 prong 110v 20amp outlet (might be best if the outlet's circuit is designated to only this purpose, so it doesn't trip the breaker). I think you can buy a 220v rapid charger for it. ~~~~ Batteries: It has the original six Deka 8G31DTM Lead Acid Gel Sealed Maintenance Free Batteries in it - I see them advertised for $280.99 each... but you may be able to find them for less. ~~~~ Parts/Service: Not sure on parts availablity. The Zenn website (http://www.zenncars.com/) has a service list on their contact link. But, many golf cart shops can service them as well. Not much service needed though (no transmission fluid, oil changes, or coolant). ~~~~ Size: 2 seats.
