1970 Buick Skylark GS 455 auto. Poss. Stage 1 clone. Parked for several years. The car starts, drives, shifts and stops well considering having not been driven in several years. There is no noticeable oil or trans leaks or smoke. Car sounds good with no audible exhaust leaks. Centerline wheels with good tread on tires. New battery and extra tuneup parts, new front end bushings( although does not need) in trunk. Complete jack, but no spare. Factory complete AC system that seems to function properly with low freon. Factory buick 8 track but no radio. Car has damaged hood and grill(see pics). Originally maroon in color with older white paint. Orig. white interior in car. Was a vynle top, but long removed. Have little info on car, but previous owner installed a variety of old CB radios, non-functioning alarms and speakers. It seems like a wiring mess, although all factory lights, AC and motor seems to function OK. The motor sounds good and can and has been driven on the freeway but wouldn suggest it until someone gives it a good one over. Floors are solid! A little rust eaten through on drivers side trunk. Seems like there is old filler in some areas and rust in the places seen in pics. Doors shut real solid and tight. Windows roll up and down tightly. All Glass is good. All trim is pretty nice other then damage in front. All shocks seem good. Car stops well with good master cylinder. Trans seems to shift properly.Brake lights, turn signals, dash lights, headlights and all 4 interior lights work. Horn, wipers and factory gauges seem to work. locking wheel locks with key. Old Mallory tach works. Headliner is nice with no rips. Door panels are orig, need good cleaning. Dual exhaust mufflers with 2 1/2 pipes are in good shape. Originally a 350 car but replaced with 455 years ago. Car is definitely a project, but is complete and you can drive it away. Clear florida title with working door locks and trunk lock keys. This car sounds great. There are no exhaust leaks from block back. It seems to handle nicely at freeway speeds. The tires are in great condition and there is no curb damage to centerlines. The underbody is super solid other then a little rust in trunk. The rear bumper had recently been rechromed. The unfortunate hood damage does not prevent it from latching properly. All weathersripping is in great shape with very minimal road noise. The ac system engages and even blows a slightly cool air. There is new tie rod bushings, waterpump and extra alternator in trunk. The shocks all seem in good shape. All locks(door,glove box and trunk) work with keys Although there appears to be some body filler, the body is straight and looks pretty good.
