The Tahoe comes with the LS trim, rides a 116-inch wheelbase and measures 198.8 inches long overall, stands more than 76 inches tall and stretches 78.8 inches wide; its ground clearance is 8.4 inches. The rear door is an aluminum lift-gate. The roof rack holds up to 200 pounds. Cast-aluminum wheels hold 16-inch tires. Two tires are brand new and the other two (and spare) are in very good condition. The Tahoe’s middle seats fold down and can be removed with the help of integral wheels. The Tahoe’s cargo volume is 104.6 cubic feet with the middle seat removed. The engine is a 275-horsepower, 4.8-liter V-8, has 104,000 miles and runs as smooth as it did in 2003! I have replaced the oil diligently every 3-4,000 miles. I have installed high-end speakers in the front doors ($250). They make a big difference especially with the bass. I have also replaced the two rear light panels to add a contemporary look to the vehicle. I had the local Chevrolet dealer do a complete diagnostic review of the car’s performance to see if there were any minor or major problems with the vehicle. The vehicle came through the inspection very well (I have all of the paperwork). The battery has been replaced in 2008 and has a lifetime warranty from AAA (battery warranty is fully transferable to the new owner).
