This car is an excellent example of a top of the line American luxury automobile from the post WWII era. Weighing in at 4,065 pounds, 20,649 were produced at a base price of $2,297. Few survived as the fastback body quickly went out of style when the hardtop coupe was introduced the following year. Today this body is rarely seen and it is even rarer to find one in pristine original condition. The documented previous owner of this top of the line luxury automobile was Bruce Willis. The car is complete with a beautiful leather interior, radio, heater, chrome surrounds for all windows, turn signals, day/night mirror, dome light, twin ashtrays, cigar lighter, trip odometer, clock, and the original color creamy yellow paint. There has been a complete restoration of a very solid and well preserved western car with never any serious rust The car has been converted to a 12 volt electric system for ease of starting. The entire drive train including the engine, 3 speed transmission, torque tube, and radiator has been rebuilt. It has just been repainted to original color and is in show condition. The car is a dependable runner, easily cruises at freeway speeds and is comfortable to drive in city traffic.
