Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell cars differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through me could save you thousands over what a retail dealership might ask for a similar vehicle. Before I list a vehicle on eBay, I personally road test it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. I then write a description of that vehicle so it feels as if you've driven it yourself. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Pre-bid inspections are welcomed and encouraged whenever possible. Vehicles are shown by appointment at my York, PA storage facility. Serious buyers are encouraged to request a private showing. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is". Most of the vehicles I sell are trades from local dealerships and are not serviced or reconditioned prior to sale. Please read the entire description and review all photographs carefully before bidding or asking questions. Everything I know about this vehicle is fully disclosed within the following paragraphs... Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is an exceptionally nice 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24. I would rate the condition of the exterior of this Cavalier as ABOVE AVERAGE. There are a fair amount of rock chips on the hood from normal driving. There is some clearcoat flaking on the drivers "c" pillar. Otherwise, this car is in great condition for the year/miles. The bright red paint shines great from any angle.The alloy wheels are in great condition and the tires have good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are in tact. This is a great looking little car that gets looks everywhere you drive it. I would rate the interior of this Cavalier as ABOVE AVERAGE also. Both door panels are clean and in tact. The carpets have a stain or two but are full looking throughout. The headliner is clean and in tact. All the seats show no major wear and are comfortable throughout. The stereo has been upgraded to a CD system which sounds great. The climate control center is functioning properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as the air does not blow cold. Pride in ownership clearly shows in every inch of this car. It comes with two keys and the original owners manual. It takes a lot of care to keep a vehicle in this condition. The trunk is clean and spacious. This is a very easy car to drive. Mechanically, this little Z24 appears to be in good condition. The potent 2.4L DOHC engine starts right up and runs smoothly. I saw no leaks or smoke from this car. During my road test, this car behaved well and showed excellent road manners. In fact, everyone I've let drive this car goes on and on about how much better it drives then one would expect a car with these miles to drive. The engine makes great power which accellerates this car effortlessly to highway speeds. Out on the highway, she will do 80+ no problem. It drives strait down the road with no vibrations or pulling. The suspension and steering feel tight and responsive. The brakes stop the car well. The clutch pedal feels a little stiff but it engages well and does not slip. Gear changes are smooth and easy. The oil was clean and full when I purchased this car (which is super important with this engine). There are no known issues with this vehicle. This Z24 could pass for under 100k miles any day. We've been driving this car non-stop since the day we got it. It's very entertaining to drive. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
