Selling my 1971 Fiat 850 Sedan probably the finest original example left in the US. I believe this is a 850 Sedan Special because of the 13" rims (even the tire size sticker inside the car says 13") and disc brakes in front . The car looks and runs excellent needs nothing to be driven very cool around town car hot or cold this car will runs perfect never any overheating even in 100F + weather. The floor pans are perfect NO rust the only spots I found was behind the wheels about the size of a quarter and that's it and a dent in the spare tire well only seen from inside the trunk. EVERYTHING works lights,horn, turn signals, wipers, hazard even the door ajar light in the rear view mirror all work. One key locks and unlocks doors and engine lid One key for ignition windows and locks operate with ease. I changed the carb to a 2bbl Weber no choke so the throttle pedal needs some getting use to a little firm, also changed the tires to low profile 50 series Kumho about 400 miles, added CD player with window antenna, RPM gauge, mounted yellow Hella fog lights on the front bumper no drill holes on the bumper, I believe the muffler is a Ansa or Abarth. I have all the original parts also like original Weber carb and the original 13" rims with near new tires which are included in the sale. Paint is good for me minor peeling in some areas but very presentable always a white car i have never driven the car in rain but no leaks after a car wash. The interior is great the front seats have been recovered the rear looks to be original, headliner is great, no dash cracks, panels are good the carpet (rubber mats) are good. The only thing it needs in the near future is the left front king pin replaced makes a knocking noise when you go over bumps I have the parts not installed it doesn't bother me too much since I have driven this car 20 miles in the last year hence the reason why I'm selling it turn signal arm is broken half way still working and useable. Front windshield has a rock chip not cracked. I also have extra parts like 2 blocks,rebuilt cylinder head, reman crank and rods,bearings gaskets, 2 sets of pistons (high and low compression), spider transmission, water pump, performance cam,springs,radius lifters, suspension bushing.... I would be willing to sell to the winning bidder for extra not included in this auction. I have a clear CA title in hand in my name car still has its original CA blue plates. Please be aware the car is 41 year old its used not perfect and sold AS IS WHERE IS. I do not think you can find another unrestored 850 sedan in this shape.
