Vehicle Detail
Clear title, no liens, no salvage and never been wrecked. Automatic and a hatchback. Got this car for my daughter, and it is mostly in great shape except for an oil leak that I do not want to deal with. It is leaking about a quart a week, maybe a little more. I thought it was the valve cover gaskets, had them changed, but ther is anoth leak and I don't know from where. I have gotten different opinions of what it is. Had the brakes checked, and the shop said I need to have the rear brakes adjusted, so I had that done. They recommended spark plug wires because of a rough idle, but I declined. The car runs normal when driving, and the engine has all of it power-in fact, its' pretty fast with the V6. It does not sputter, or try to stall-its just a rough idle. The car does not overheat or run hot, and there is no antifreeze or transmission leak. Does not burn oil-just leaks it. Drives fine and I have been driving it everyday, including on the highway. You could drive it like it is as long as you keep putting oil in, but I don't want to be bother with that, and I know my daughter doesn't. The title may show multiple owners, but it was just the previous owner and her husband, who is a friend of mine, and his mother-who never drove it. They have had it since it was new. Besides the oil leak and the idle, everything is in great shape-tires, transmission, brakes-everything. I just don't want to pay for these repairs. The car has an aftermarket stereo with a detachable face and a carrying case for the face. Body and interior are nice. It does have rust along the bottom edge/lip of the trunklid/hatchlid.
