I have just traded for this truck. It is a blue and white 71 Ford F100 short bed. The body is in great condition for the age of the truck. There is only a small amount of rust in this truck. The cab corners, rockers and bed have realitivly no rust. The drivers side of the truck has some surface rust where the chrome is suppose to be. The prior owner used primer to protect the metal. The interior of the truck is nice. The seat is good and the floor mat is good except the 3 speed on the column has been moved to the floor and that required cutting the mat for the shifter. The radio has been removed but no damage to the dash. All the guages works and the windows are in good condition. The right front fender has some damage that is repairable. (see picture) This truck is completly orginal even the wheels are the steel wheels that came on the truck. The truck has had atleast one repaint. For someone looking for a truck to restore to original or to modify this is a great truck for that. The tires are about worn out and will need to be replaced before driving very far. The 302 engine runs good, however the clutch jerks some when taking off. The clutch and transmission works as you change the gears it just has some vibaration when starting off. I will be glad to answer any question you have in regards to the truck. I do have the truck for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. This is a NC truck with a good clean title. The winner of the auction should expect to make a $500 downpayment within 48 hours and the balance when the truck is picked up.
