1952 MG TD, This is a California car thats been in dry storage for the last 32 years, This car has matching numbers: #9742, frame, body, and motor, ( the motor thats in the the car is from a 1954 MGTD and the original motor that has matching number stamped onto the block and stamped on the brass ID tag #9742 is in a crate with a "Mark II" head also included). Car comes with a CA pink ID #9742. Also included is original owners book, repair manual, and blue lic plates from 1979, This car was set up as a race car with hi gear rear end, Race history is unknown. Has original tools, Jack, Crank handle, 2 tonal covers, tire pump. This vehicle will need engine work; it will need a late style oil pump, timing and other repairs but engine turns over, with good compression. The electrical will need replacing, it is all there and connected but is becoming frayed in places. Brakes need work, top and side curtains need new fabric but frame looks good. The paint is new but was painted over existing, so it is not perfect.
