Here we have, up for bid, this incredible Ford F350 Crew cab 4x4 with the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission. This is a nicely equipped XLT, so lots of comfort and options inside. The 7.3 Turbo Diesel runs incredibly smooth and strong. It is also equipped with a K&N air intake with reusable cotton filter element. This helps the engine breath nice and freely. It is not loud or obnoxious. It does sound very healthy. Anyway, the engine fires up cold immediately, no unusual smoke of ANY colors. All the glow plugs along with the glow plug relay are brand new. The engine runs smooth, all injectors are firing correctly, and it holds good oil pressure. No knocks, pings, drips, blowby, noises, etc.... Just a great running, well maintained 7.3 with MANY more miles left to go. The 5 speed stick rows smoothly through all the gears and the clutch grips strong. I love these trucks and know how hard they are to find with this drivetrain combo. I try and buy every one I can find like this to put on our lot. This is the truck you are looking for if you have a family and want to tow something and still get reasonable fuel mileage. It already has a B&W turnover ball hitch in the back for a gooseneck trailer. There is a brake controller under the dash. Don't let the mileage scare you away on this one, it has obviously been loved and well maintained. There are 24 pictures of this truck to show you what I mean. Please take the time to review them carefully.The photos show a few small dents on the truck. I believe there is NO rust on this truck anywhere. It is SUPER dry and clean underneath everywhere you look. Overall, I think it looks better than most 1996 F350 crew cab trucks you will still find out there. As far as I can tell, it's never even had any bodywork done, meaning never wrecked. The tailgate has been replaced though. The 4 tires look very good to me and they are LT235/85R16 "E" range load. (10 ply rated). The wheels are stock and very nice. There is no evidence that this truck has ever been used to plow snow. All in all, this is one nice, heavy duty truck that is going to be THE pride and joy for someone. There is nice carpet inside, excellent condition. All the power windows and locks go up and down. As you can imagine, with any used vehicle, it is nearly impossible to cover every last square inch in detail with this brief description. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or tests for ANYTHING. This includes emmissions and safety inspections.
