This is my 65 mustang for sale. The car was puchased in march of last year in Tazwell,Va from the man who did most of the restoration. I was told it was originaly a C code car with a 289.The odometer and gauges are from another car that I have pulled apart cleaned and lubed so the mileage is in no way correct to the car as for the motor and tranny the mileage is not known. The only thing I know is tranny and rear have new seals and oil. The car has a 1975 302 with a 2 speed automatic with a holly 4-barrell.I was told new metal was put in car,floor pans , fenders, rearquarters as well as new paint ,front bumper,head lites,tail lites,grill,door handles,outside mirrors ,dual flowmaster exhaust,carburator, tie rod ends , tires and wheels,headliner and dash pad.I have put all new rubber around doors,front and rear springs,steering box,cd player,rear drums,shocks,fuel sending unit as well as had the windows tinted.Also she has new battery trunk liner,speedometer cable,door sill plates,plugs,wires and some nice chrome on the motor.The car drives very nice and tracks strait.Has a nice rumble to the exhaust.I have put 7,000 miles on her driving to work on nice days.There is no power steering,power brakes or AC.Overall condition of the car is great.The exterior paint would rate a 7 out of 10 due some chips and blemishes. The interior is fair the carpet could be replaced and seats are velour and show some wear with a hole back seat near carpet d/s aprox. 2x2 inches and some small holes in driver seat dime size.I am trying to be as acurate and honest as I can.It does leak some oil as u can see in pics. Also she has a new flex fan and shroud due to throwing a blade going to work one day.The oil is clean and does not smoke.Supposedly the motor was rebuilt by the man before I puchased it .You can see the car has been gone thru everything works on it .To be a nice show car interior could be done so if you are looking for a new toy with a little work to be done this is for you. Make no mistake this not a perfect car but a real head turner it was redone by a doit yourself car guy.I believe all the bugs are worked out because when I drive to work it is 72 miles roundtrip. I plan on getting another mustang with the sale of this one.Just tired of playing with it so here it is.I am not hard up for money so no lowball offers on it. The price I am starting is the bottom dollar and that is why NO RESERVE . Thanks for lookin DON.
