1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne 20 Super This truck was special ordered by my late Fathers Brother In Law in 1972, when it arrived he did not like what he had ordered so my Dad took the truck for himself. The Vin CCE242F313984 decodes as follows C=Chevy C= 4x2 E = V8 2= 3/4 ton 4= pickup with cab & bed 2= 1972 F= manufactured in Flint Mi. Truck has been very well cared for, under a carport most of its life and it shows! I cannot find any rust on the truck except on the wheels where the chrome plating is flaked! Very very solid truck. Has spent its whole life in Rockmart Ga. was changed into my sons name when my Dad passed in 09 but, my Dad was the only person who ever drove the truck! The 63627 miles are ORIGINAL MILES! The truck was not driven very often especially the past few years but, he always cranked it every week or two till late 09. Since late 09 it has not been driven. Very good mechanically, ran great but now it needs a carb from setting up. Will start but hard to keep running due to carb. So you will need to trailer it home but, it will take very little to drive it. Only other known issue is it needs brakes. Truck must be paid in full and picked up within seven (7) days after end of auction. Deposit due immeadantly.
