Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most traditional dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealership might ask for a similar vehicle. Before I list a vehicle on eBay, it is personally road tested by me so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Then I write a description so you can get to know the car as if you've driven it yourself. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Pre-bid inspections are welcomed and encouraged whenever possible. Vehicles are shown by appointment at my York, PA storage facility. Any serious bidder is encouraged to request a private showing. All vehicles are sold "as-is". Most vehicles I sell are trades from local dealerships and are not serviced or reconditioned prior to sale. Please read the entire description and review all photos carefully before placing a bid or asking questions. Everything I know about each car is fully disclosed in the following paragraphs... Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1996 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series. As you can see, this is a great looking Town Car. I would rate the exterior of this Lincoln as ABOVE AVERAGE. Please review all photos carefully. The color combination on this Lincoln is one of my favorites. The medium green over dark camel leather looks stunning! The finish on this Town Car has a deep shine throughout. There is a small dent at the right tail light and you can see some thinning on the front bumper from being driven. Otherwise, this car has fared well for the miles. The alloy wheels look great and the tires have good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are in tact. The 95-97 Town Car is one of my favorite vehicles. Their lines are ageless in my opinion. These cars look as good today as when they were new! I would rate the interior of this Town Car to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. All of the door panels are clean and in tact. All of the chrome buttons are in tact and functional on the door panels. The carpets are in good condition and full looking throughout. The headliner is also clean and in tact. The leather seat are in great condition and show minimal wear. Both front seats are power operated. The power windows, locks and mirrors are all in operating condition. Pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this car. The factory manual is still in the glove box. This car comes with three keys and two remotes. The climate control system is fully automatic and functions properly. The air conditioner blows cold air. The sound system is factory original and sounds great. In addition to radio and cassette up front, there is a factory 10 disc CD changer in the trunk. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Town Car appears to be in good condition. The tried and true 4.6L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. I saw no leaks or smoke coming from the engine. During my road test, this car exhibited excellent road manners. The engine held proper temperature and there were no warning lights on. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. The brakes stop this car perfectly and show no pulsation. Out on the highway, this Town Car rockets down the road with ease. At 80 mph, it feels like you're sitting in your living room on your favorite chair. There is no shaking or pulling in the front end. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts fine. This is a 300k+ mile car with proper care. The 4.6L V8 has been used in nearly everything Ford made that offered a V8. It came in the Mustang GT, Thunderbird, Expedition/Navigator, F150, Grand Marquis and Police Interceptors. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
