Vehicle Detail
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell wholesale vehicles directly to the public. I'm not going to go through my normal introduction because this is a non running vehicle. I sell several hundred vehicles per year on ebay...all with NO RESERVE. This auction will be no different. This van DOES have a CLEAN TITLE. My normal doc fee is $149. If you are buying this van for parts and require a bill of sale ONLY, I will drop the doc fee down to $99 just to cover my end. If you wish to have the title assigned to you, the normal doc fee will apply. Please ask all questions before bidding. I am a very honest person. Everything I know about this vehicle will be fully disclosed. Of course, this vehicle will be sold "as-is". It is currently not running and will need to be removed with a trailer. I purchased this vehicle on Thursday, 04/14/11 from Harrisburg Auto Auction (which is where most of my vehicles come from). It was sold green light with no defects. After sale, I drove this van out to the parking lot for loading. It had good miles and drove perfectly. The Saturday after I bought it, we got a horrible rain storm. I went up to auction Sunday to start transporting vehicles and found several of my vehicles (along with many others) waist deep in water. This van was parked on an incline, nose down. The high water mark went from the top of the grill to the bottom of the rear bumper since it was parked on an incline. Once the water went down enough, I got my rollback in and drug it out. The floor of the interior was covered in water but it didn't get on the seats. I pulled the dipstick for the transmission and there was no water on it. I pulled the engine oil dipstick and there was water in the crankcase. I never attempted to start it. The battery is long dead. I know the water didn't get in through the intake...it must have leaked in through a bad seal somewhere. The exterior of this van is still in excellent condition. The black paint has a great shine and the graphics look good. The sunning boards are okay but there is a crack in one spot. All of the glass is good. The alloy wheels are in excellent condition and the tires are nearly new all around. The interior didn't make out too badly. The seats were worn moderately when I bought it. The carpets will need steam cleaned but I don't see any permanent damage. I never got it out on the road to actually drive it but I assume it drove well judging from the condition of the rest of the van. There is front and rear air that blew cold. There are captains chairs in the middle with a reclining sofa in the rear. All rear windows have blinds. This truck is a real shame....I know I'm gonna take a beating on this one but it's doing absolutely no good sitting there. It's time for it to move on. I am happy to answer any questions but this one should be pretty strait forward. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. If you are mechanically inclined, maybe she can run again. It seems stupid to see a van get parted out that had no issues except for the misfortune of being parked in a flood plane at the wrong time.
