1969 Triumph Bonneville

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1969 Triumph Bonneville T-120R The original owner last registered the bike in 1978. I bought the bike and just put it away in storage. I have not re registered the bike since purchasing it. When put away, the bike had 3651 miles on it. I had the tach and speedometer rebuilt and now shows only 49 true miles on the bike. The serial numbers are all correct. I hired Doug Easton to professionally restore the bike and go through everything. I have receipts for all the work done. Basically the bike was all taken apart, everything plated again. The frame was blasted and powder coated in black. The rims were chromed again, sent to Buchanan’s, polished stainless steel spokes were used, new tires, tubes, new wire harness, all new rubber, many new NOS bolts used. From Baxter we bought, two new carburetors, jetted for the Bonneville. All new cables specifically made for the Bonneville and new after market mufflers. The battery is new and ready to go. The engine was completely taken apart; crank polished, new cam, lifters, new pistons, new bearings, seals, new valves and guides, all new clutch basket, plates, primary chain, new sprockets and drive chain. New Boyer electronic ignition was installed, which works great. I painted the bike in 1970 colors, because I think they look better than the 1969 ones. This was my personal preference and not done to sell. This bike was restored to keep and spent a fortune on new parts to make it the best I could. No time or money was spared to make this bike just like new. It takes maybe two kicks and the bike comes to life. The motor is nice and tight, well restored.
