Vehicle Detail
I bought this car back in June on ebay for my stepson. A relative gave us a newer car so I don't need this one at all. The mileage is correct. If you look at the interior of the car with the exception of the crack in the dirvers seat from the sun, the interior truly looks like new. It has the orignal floor mats still in it. The car came from Mass. and so the typically places behind the wheel wells have rust. This is what I know about the car: new rebuilt alternator, new plugs, new pcv valve, new distributor, new air filter, brakes are good but I have new front pads but have not installed them, I have a new fuel filter but have not installed it, tires are good, some of the tail lights need to be replacd, easy fix just haven't done it, driver's window only goes down 70% of the way. The drivers door also does not open from the outside. Car has Ac blow hard but needs to be charged. I have not done it. The car would not pass normal state of Maryland inspection because of the rust spots but because it is over 20 years old I registered it as a historic vehicle and thus it did not have to go through inspection. The tags and title were around $75 and the insurance on the car is really good also becuase of the historic tags. A mechanic says a clip has probably come loose and that is the culprit for the window and the door latch. I have not investigated this. Car is in Urbana, Maryland, about ten miles south of Frederick, Maryland on I270. I drove it back and forth to work for a couple of weeks before I parked it in my garage to work on it as I had time. When we were given the newer car for my stepson I stopped working on it and driving it. It gets about 25-30 miles a gallon the best I can guess. I only burned one tank of gas through it so that may not be a good judge of mileage.
