This is a beautiful 1999 Lincoln Towncar, Executive Series, with a rich blue leather interior and clean white exterior. As with all Lincolns of this caliber, this car is complete in every aspect. We have driven this car from Southern California to Las Vegas as well as to more local casinos such as Harra's Rincon in the San Diego area on regular trips. Other than that, most of our trips were local of less than 60 miles round trip such as the grocery store and to the hospitals for regular appointments as we were both disabled and our hospital visits were within 25-30 each way. This was a wonderful car for both of us but since my friend has passed on I am no longer in need of a luxury sedan. This car was mostly for the comfort of my long-time friend and I did most of the driving. I still drive it as needed but would like to restore my older classic vehicle as I do not travel much any longer. My Towncar has recently been serviced as it is regularly, I put new brakes on it two weeks ago and the new tires from Pep Boys were installed less than a year ago with less than 2000 miles. AC was serviced about two year ago and still blows cold. Suspension and ride is wonderful and all power accessories, windows, power seats, etc., are all in working order. Windows are tinted; light in front and medium in the rear which helps to keep the car cooler and for added protection in the afternoon sun here in California. I average about 23 miles to the gallon and I am not a lead foot but I this car will excelerate into traffic and into highway speeds without hesitation. We have had a service animal and this car has been a great commuter when traveling with him and with other passengers on infrequent trips... obviously we didn't travel often with the limited mileage on the car. Our service dog would rest his paws/arms between the two front seats on a the center armrest, covered with a slip cover when commuting and a blanketed rear seat to limit any wear as well as for comfort. If you like to travel with your special friend this is a wonderful car for any trip. If your special friend is human, well, there is plenty of leg room in the rear and the AC blows through the center during those longer trips if you like Vegas and assuming you are as local as I am for the 4-hour leisurely cruise. Okay, there are a lot of luxury cars but this series continues to show and shine with the latest editions with minimal changes. I like white, I look important when driving this car and I get respect wherever I go. You will not find another vehicle for this price with so much history, respect and appreciation. I would love to keep it but I need to be reasonable and I need to leave it for someone else that will appreciate it as we have. The only negative appeal of this particular car is the rear bumper which has some blemishes. These were caused because we parked the car in an older home garage and the garage would occassionally shut on the bumper. I have discussed this with my local shop and it, as well as the front bumper, can be repainted for $200. It has never bothered me so if you decide you want this car and want it in a more perfect condition than it already is I can arrange this at your cost. As previously described, the car has new tires on all fours and rotated recently, new front brakes as of three weeks ago now and oil change plus inspection as of yesterday.
