The car needs work, however I do not currently have the proper facilities to remove the head to check the valves. The car DOES RUN STRONG, but it is evident that one the #2 Exhaust Valves is sticking based on compression, smell, sound and DTC codes. It's has been a common problem when the car is not fueled with "premium fuel". I was hoping that cleaning the intake runners would free up the valve, but after 50 miles, it has not. The previous Owner had it at a Volvo repair shop and they also believe it may be a sticking valve and needs valve work at minimum. The car has 268K miles and the transmission was replaced about 40K miles ago at Volvo dealership. The body has some dings. Rear drivers taillight cover is cracked and front drivers side blinker is NEW, but chipped. The car starts and display shows SRS-Airbag service needed. Airbags never have gone off so not sure if this is from the battery going dead. The car car has various dings, broken fog lights and some other 'nickel and dime' items to make it look like a 8/10.
