2002 Corvette Convertible "Custom Aero Body/24,978mi" Gorgeous Automatic Convertible with ZO6 Performance Exterior: Magnetic Red Interior: Black Leather with Red Custom Accents Convertible Top: Black Serial Number: 1G1YY32G225230755 Mileage: 24,978 This fully loaded Corvette Convertible had a MSRP of $53,955. It has the optional $600 special factory "Magnetic Red" paint which in my opinion is one of the most gorgeous colors and factory has ever offered on a sports car. Almost $20,000 have been spent on special performance upgrades as well as appearances and other custom features. Some of the factory options on this Vette are: Dual Zone Air-conditioning Fog Lamps Memory Package Adjustable Sport Bucket Seats Power Driver and Passenger Seat Electrochromic Mirrors ISRV & OSRV Heads-up Display Steering Power Telescopic & Manual Tilt Steering Polished Aluminum Wheels Magnetic Red Metallic W/Tint Coat 3:15 Performance Axle Ratio License Plate Frame Everything works to perfection on this low-mileage, always well cared for VERY Special Vette Convertible. For increased horsepower, performance throttle-body injectors, A mass cold air induction system, custom exhaust headers and stainless exhaust system as well as a performance computer chip have been installed. This car produced 497HP on a Dyno at 6000RPMS. It still will average 28mpg on the highway at 70mph and 19mpg in City Driving but the performance, when summoned upon, is capable of turning the 1/4 mile in 11.82 seconds and reaching 119mph. The exhaust has a fabulous deep mellow sound...not to loud...and not too quiet. The Engine compartment has been treated to several "Dress Up" features as has the trunk. The trunk has a solenoid switch that enables the trunk to "pop open" when the remote is depressed. This feature was not offered in 2002 but appears in later model Corvettes. The Stereo system is a great sounding Alpine AM/FM/Stereo/CD Player with 160W. It has XM Satellite Radio and I recently pre-paid for one year for every possible available channel. A Special Woofer has been installed in the trunk for increased bass sounds. A full side, front and rear custom body kit has been added...it not only looks incredible...it provides increased aerodynamics and handling at higher speeds. The Interior has been treated to some Custom Red Leather Accent Upgrades. A Clock and a Booster Gauge have been added for convenience. I had the Booster Gauge added because I had planned to install a Magnussen Supercharger just like the one Chevrolet uses on it's new ZR1 Vettes which produce 633 Horse Power. I have ordered a new 2012 Carbon Fiber ZR1 and have decided to let some other lucky guy or girl own and enjoy this one of a kind Corvette Convertible. This car has a 100% clean CARFAX and AUTO CHECK Report. It has never been left outside one night and has always used Mobil One Synthetic Oil or Kendall GT1 Synthetic Oil and it has been changed regularly ever 2500 miles.
