1975 Honda CB

Great running 1975 CB550 Four. This was a daily rider for decades-the former owner's main form of transportation! Bike runs great-we recently went through the bike and did the following: Newly rebuild carbs with new floats, needles, seats gaskets and jets. Petcock has been replaced, new fuel lines with inline filters. The battery is brand new. This bike needs some minor work to be a daily driver again: Brake master cylinder needs to be replaced. Starter solenoid needs to be replaced-bike starts up on kick starter in one or two kicks. Tires are good. Seat is mint, its been recovered, foam is great, pan is rust free. Bike retains the original factory exhaust from the headers all the way back. Exhaust is in very good condition. Bike needs a cleaning, all the chrome is solid, and original. The paint - the owner of this bike was a self professed hippie, and took it upon himself to individualize the gas tank and side covers. You will never see another 550 like this! Tank is in very good condition, both inside and out. No major dents no rust on the inside. Side covers retain all the original pins. Bike could be easily brought back to original paint scheme. If someone wants a unique, reliable vintage CB550, then some minor work will make this a great daily rider. Also a great basis for a restoration. Mechanically this bike is very good, and runs great.
